Animation is a method of photographing successive drawings, models, or even puppets, to create an illusion of movement in a sequence. Because our eyes can only retain an image for 1/16 of a second, when multiple images appear in fast succession, the brain blends them into a single moving image. In traditional animation, pictures are drawn or painted on transparent celluloid sheets to be photographed and shown on film.

Animation as a career for the students is the best option that offers aspirants an opportunity to showcase their talent and creativity. This industry is increasing rapidly due to the fame and recognition received by many animated movies latterly, such as – Avatar, Frozen, The Lion King, Despicable Me, Finding Nemo, etc. Its main aim and focus is to provide students new skills in communication that are necessary for animation along with knowledge about and new media. Students need to expertise in different software such as – Adobe After Effects, Autodesk3ds Max, Adobe Premiere, and Autodesk Maya to make a career in the field of Animation. Consistently, many students are seeking animation courses, and they are being placed in the areas of 2D and 3D Animation. The animation industry in India is expected to grow at a fast pace.
