Jammu Kashmir government has decided to postpone the 12th board exams and cancel the 10th board exams, in view of the ongoing COVID-19 situation. The students of Class 10 will be promoted to the next class on the basis of objection criteria, and after one month, the exam date will be rescheduled for the 12th class.
Know More “In view of rising cases of #COVID19, Class X ongoing exams for remaining subjects has been cancelled and their promotion to Class XI will be decided on the basis of their performance in subjects already undertaken in the present exam and internal assessment. In case of ongoing XII exams, it has been postponed and it will be reviewed after one month,” the LG of Jammu and Kashmir tweeted.
According to the schedule, the Class 10 board exams begin from 3rd April 2021 to 24th April 2021, and the 12th board exam commenced on 1st April 2021 to 29th April 2021.
The exams got obstructed equidistant due to gush in COVID-19 cases. The verdict was decided to control the spread of the virus that many other states cancelled and postponed the board exams due to COVID-19.
