B.Plan is popularly known as Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan). It is an undergraduate course that comes up with a duration of 4 years. In this course, students are provided with basic knowledge and training about the professional planning, engineering, and designing urban human settlements. A professional planner plays a very critical role in shaping the environment economically, environmentally, socially & culturally, having a significant impact on the factors that influence one's lives. The aim of the course is also to prepare students for competitive business instilling general subjects as Fundamentals of Urban and Regional Planning, Culture and Technology, Ecology, Evolution of Aesthetics, Basic Architectural Design, Environment, and Resource Development and Management.

B.Plan Eligibility Criteria

For admission Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan), candidates must have passed 10+2 exam from a recognized board with Mathematics as a core subject with a minimum aggregate marks criteria provided by the examining authority of government, universities/institutes, etc. Relaxation of 15% is provided for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/Other Backward classes.

B.Plan Entrance Exam        

  • JEE Main conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency)
  • National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture
  • Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow
  • Jagannath University Entrance Examination (JUEE) conducted by Jagannath University, Rajasthan
  • Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by Anna University

B.Plan Admission  Process

For admission in Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan) course:

  • Candidates must have to appear the JEE Main and NATA or any other architectural entrance exam.
  • After this process, eligible students will be able to take the counseling process, and based on skills and availability of seats, candidates will be given admission in the interested colleges according to the marks obtained by them in the entrance exam.
