Law School Admission Test [ LSAT ]

Law School Admissions Test is a standardized assessment designed by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) and administered by Pearson VUE. It is conducted every year to offer admissions in various law colleges. LSAT India scores are not acceptable in colleges outside India. Candidates wishing to join outside India must take the standard version which is also available in India. There are more than 80 colleges eager to accept candidates with good LSAT scores.

LSAT is a National-level examination. It is conducted by the Law School Admission Council(LSAC). LSAC processes academic credentials for an average of 85,000 law school applicants annually. It also provides essential software and information for admission offices and applicants, conducts educational conferences for law school professionals and prelaw advisors, sponsors and publishes research, funds diversity and other outreach grant programs, and publishes LSAT preparation books and websites and law school guides.

Eligibility Criteria

There are not any pre-requisites for appearing for LSAT 2021.

 The candidate should have cleared the 12-grade or equivalent examination.

Examination Details

LSAT 2021 examination will be conducted in pen and paper mode. The results will be available to the candidates within 24 hours. Those clearing the examination are further shortlisted for counseling. Counseling will be conducted online. The candidate will have to follow these steps:

Step 1: The candidates are supposed to research law schools based on their extensive and thorough research.

Step 2: They must attend a Law School Forum where they will meet numerous recruiters.

Step 3: Candidate must apply for the Credential Assembly Service (CAS) before they start applying for institutes

Step 4: After applying for CAS, candidates can then view their Academic Summary Report in their account.

Step 5: Students must then register with the Candidate Referral Service (CRS)

Step 6: Lastly, aspirants can apply to the various college of their choice using their account. Students will then receive information about their seats via email.

 For counseling, the candidate needs to bring along certain documents. Documents required for LSAT 2021 counseling:

 Candidate’s Application for a particular program

 Credential Assembly Service (CAS) law school report or LSAT law school report (if the school does not require CAS).

 Letters of recommendation (if required)

 Personal statement

 Application fee (if required)

 Waiting list

Along with the results, LSAT will release a waiting list. This is for candidates who scored just enough to be considered but not enough to get through counseling. The candidates will be informed about their rank via email. People on the waiting list can apply to colleges but a seat will only be ensured if there are vacant or drawbacks from initially chosen candidates.


LSAT India 2021 syllabus is announced by Pearson VUE. The candidates are expected to be thorough with the mentioned topic to attain a good score. LSAT examination will have questions based on these topics.

For 2021, the examination will be conducted in online proctored mode.LSAT examinations will be conducted on various dates and sessions. The candidates are free to choose whether to write an exam at home or test centers provided by LSAT India. Every candidate will be strictly observed via a computer's web camera. They will also be monitored using AI-assisted technology. The exam consists of 92-100 questions. There will four sections.

  1. Analytical Reasoning
  2. Reading Comprehension
  3. LogicaReasoning( 2 sections)

The test duration is 2 hours and 20 minutes. The candidates are given 35 minutes to complete each section. The questions will be of Mulitple Choice Question form. Each question will have four to five options, out of which one is the right option. There will be no negative marking. The results will be available in percentile form.

Aspirants who are desirous of admission law courses offered by associated colleges must duly fill and submit the LSAT India 2021 application form by April 20. Make sure that you use only genuine and verifiable information when filling the form, as every detail will be checked during the document verification process. Online Registration

•To access the registration form, click on the application link. In the registration form, fill in details like candidate name, email ID, mobile number, pin code, and academic qualification.

•Select the program of study.

•On successful registration, a candidate account will be created.

Filling of application form

•Login to the candidate account and fill the form, which will have various fields like personal information, address details, program preferences, academic qualification, and other details.

•Programme preference: the candidate has to select from 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB, and LLM programs.

•College preference: A maximum of eight colleges can be selected; options must be entered in the order of priority.

•Exam center selection: Select a convenient LSAT India 2021 exam center from the drop-down menu.

Payment of application fee

The candidate has to next pay the LSAT India application fee, which is the same for all the categories: Rs. 3800. The only online payment option is available; payments can be made using net banking, credit, or debit cards.

Submission of application form

This is the last step of the LSAT India 2021 application process, wherein the candidate has to submit the application form after ensuring that it is complete in all respects. If the application form is incomplete in any respect, it would be rejected.

How to download LSAT India 2021 admit card?

1.Go to LSAC official website and click on the admit card download link

2.The candidate will be redirected to a log-in window

3.Enter email ID and password

4.Upon successful log-in, the admit card will be displayed on the screen

5.Download and take a printout.

*The candidate will not be allowed to write the examination without the current Admit Card*
