About IIFT 2021

IIFT or Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Entrance Exam is a national level MBA entrance test, conducted every year by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to provide admission to the MBA International Business course offered by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada.

IIFT 2021 is going to be a computer-based online exam consists of 110 questions, which is divided into four sections, i.e., Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation, and General Awareness. IIFT Exam 2021: Registration Process

IIFT Exam 2021 registration process commences on November 6, 2020, till December 30, 2020 (Till 5 PM). Candidates who want to participate in the exam have to apply for the exam by filling the application form through online mode from the official website of IIFT. The registration process of IIFT 2021 involves the following steps:

  • Upload the required documents

IIFT 2021: Application Form Correction

IIFT 2021 form correction window will open for candidates for a brief period. During this phase, candidates could edit certain fields in the IIFT 2021 application form. The fields, which can be edited, are: mistakes in identification information, educational information, double fee payment, wrong photograph, and signature. The candidates could also raise queries regarding fee payment, payment not updated, verification, multiple application form issue,s and other such issues.

Form correction facility is only for registered candidates. Follow these steps to verify the information filled in the form and make changes if required.

  • Enter application number and password
  • Click on ‘Register Query’
  • Select query type and description (if any)
  • Attach image or screenshot of the error between 10-200 kb (optional)

  • If accepted, correction will be allowed

IIFT Exam 2021: Eligibility

Candidates who want to take admission in the MBA International Business program offered by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) will have to take the common entrance exam conducted by The National Testing Agency (NTA). For this students have to be fit the eligibility criteria of the IIFT 2021 issued by the exam conducting authority NTA. Listed below are the eligibility criteria for the IIFT 2021 entrance exam:

  • Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university/institute with an aggregate of 50%.
  • Final year candidates can also apply, but their admission shall be subjected to the submission of the passing certificate of final year, i.e., a minimum of 50% marks (before October 7, 2021).
  • Reservation of 5% is provided to the SC/ST students for appearing in the entrance (45% marks are required by them to be eligible).

IIFT Exam 2021: Exam Layout

IIFT 2021 exam is a computer-based online exam. The paper will contain 110 questions, which are divided into four sections, i.e., Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation, and General Awareness. Students will have to answer all the questions within the time duration of 2 hours. The exam is expected to hold a moderate difficulty level.

  • IIFT 2021 entrance will going to be computer-based mode.
  • The paper consists of MCQ questions.
  • Total of 110 objective questions.
  • Each correct answer will carry a 3 mark.
  • Each wrong answer will consist of 1/3rd negative marking i.e., 1 mark shall be deducted for the other three sections except the General Awareness section.

IIFT Exam 2021: Selection Procedure

Eligible candidates, on the basis of the IIFT 2021 score, can apply for admission to the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT). Candidates who cleared the IIFT 2021 have to go through a Writing Ability Test (WAT)/Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round for getting final admission in an Institute.

The final merit list will be prepared based on the different rounds of IIFT 2021 conducting by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), i.e., IIFT Score, Writing Ability Test (WAT)/Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) performance. Based on the merit list, seat allotment takes place. After this, candidates can report to the institution for acknowledging the admission.

Step 1: IIFT 2021 Exam

Candidates will have to appear and pass the IIFT 2021 exam to get admission in the MBA courses provided at different campuses of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada.

Step 2: Shortlisting

IIFT Exam 2021: Guidelines

IIFT 2021 exam is going to be an online exam. Candidates are recommended to make the instructions clear in their mind while appearing for the IIFT 2021 exam. The exam day guidelines for IIFT 2021 Exam are listed below:

  • Candidates must have reach the exam center two hours before reporting time for the identification and verification process. Entries after gate closure time will be prohibited.

Q1. Making changes in the application form after submission could be possible?

A1. Yes, you can make changes after the submission of the application form. The Application Form Correction date will be issued by the National Testing Agency after the last date to apply is over.

Q2. Will I be allowed to provide a choice for the exam center?

A2. Appearing students can provide their choice for the test center while filling the registration form. Based on the availability and the options chosen by the candidate, the authorities will assign the test center to the candidates.

Q3. Can I receive the application form for the IIFT through the offline mode?
