Abut DU B.Ed 2021
The Delhi University (DU) conducts the DU B.Ed Entrance Exam for candidates who wish to take admission in a two-year course of Bachelor in Education. During the program, students will not be allowed to pursue any other full-time degree course simultaneously. The registration process for the entrance exam began on June 20, 2020.
The entrance test will be MCQ-based and divided into three sections. According to the DU B.Ed Exam Pattern, Paper-I consists of questions from GK and Reasoning, Paper-II consists of a student's subject knowledge up to class X, and Paper-III comprises of questions from Language Proficiency in Hindi and English. The DU authority releases result in the form of a merit list for each category (GEN/SC/ST/OBC).

DU B.Ed Eligibility 2021
Students have to select one subject within a subject category which they have studied in the qualifying degree for at least 200 marks. They must have obtained at least 50% marks in this subject. This subject category chosen by the applicant will be considered final for the preparation of a merit list and allocation of institutions. The topic selected by the applicant from the subject category will be considered as the teaching subject, and it will remain the same throughout the B.Ed. Program.
Note: Any request for a change in the subject category will not be entertained under any circumstances while allocating institutions and seats.

DU B.Ed Reservation Criteria
The seats reserved for the ST/SC category will be filled only by students of those categories. In the scenario of non-availability of the eligible applicants, the reserved seats may be switched between the ST and SC. If still, any seat remains unfilled, the seat will be left vacant.
The seats reserved for the OBC will be filled with OBC category candidates only. Only if OBC candidates having the minimum eligibility marks are not available in the OBC category will the vacant OBC seats will be converted into General Category seats following the admission schedule notified by the Institution authority.
Widows or wards of the eligible armed forces personnel, including Para Military forces, have a reservation of 5% of all the seats in each course.

- In personal details, the candidate should fill the Name of the Candidate, Father's name, date of birth, gender, and other required information.

- Candidates should upload a recent passport size photograph with a signature.
- The payment of the registration fee must be made through the Online mode.
DU B.Ed Application fee 2021
- The registration fee for the DU B.Ed entrance exam is ₹ 500/- for general category candidates and ₹ 250/- for the reserved category students.
- Applicants are allowed to make the payment of the registration fee through online mode using the facility of net banking or via their debit card/credit card.

DU B.Ed Admit Card 2021
- The applicants who submit their registration form in time will be able to download their admit card for the DU B.Ed exam.
- The admit card for the test will be made accessible on the given official website www.doe.du.ac.in. It can be downloaded using the application number and date of birth of the student.
- On the admit card, necessary details related to the appearing student like name, roll number, the test such as center and timing of the examination will be specified.
- A printout of the admit card must be taken and carried to the exam center along with valid identity proof.
- Kindly note that examinees not in possession of these documents will not be allowed to appear for the test.
DU B.Ed Documents for Admission 2021
The following documents are required compulsorily to be presented by the student at the time of admission.
- The Secondary School Certificate as a verification proof of date of birth
- A complete Statement of Marks of Part- I, II, and III at Graduation
- In the case of Post-graduation, a Statement of Marks at the Master’s level
- A Provisional Certificate/degree of the qualifying examination
- The Category certificate from a competent authority, for students belonging to the reserved categories
- A Character Certificate from the institution last attended or from any gazetted officer
- For the candidates in service, a No Objection Certificate from the employer and a letter of sanction of study leave for two years

Q1. Can I fill my DU B.Ed registration form through the offline mode?
A1. No. The registration form for the DU B.Ed entrance exam will only be made available to the students through the online mode.
Q2. Will the concerned university send me my DU B.Ed entrance test admit card through the post?
A2. No, admit cards will not be sent to the students through the post. Applicants can only download their DU B.Ed entrance test admit card from the official website.
Q3. Is it possible for me to change my subject category and teaching subject at a later stage?
A3. No. The subject category and teaching subject that were chosen at the time of filling the registration form cannot be altered at any later stage.
Q4. How do I receive a refund on my registration fee?
A4. The payment of the registration fee, once paid and submitted, will not be refunded to the applicants under any circumstances.
Q5. In my qualifying examination, I am only a few marks short of the required eligibility criterion. Can I round off my marks?
A5. No, rounding off of points of the qualifying examination is not permitted. Only the candidates with 50% or more marks without any rounding off in undergraduate or postgraduate degree are eligible to apply. Also, students who have applied for an improvement exam or have appeared in the supplementary exam (to re-appear) will not be considered for admission.
