CEPT Entrance Exam 2021
CEPT University which is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat offers numerous
undergraduate, postgraduate, M. Phil and PhD courses in the fields of
Architecture, Planning, Technology, Design and Management. CEPT University was
formerly called the Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology.
The CEPT entrance examination is conducted by the CEPT University to
offer admission to students for the various UG and PG courses. It is a state-level
examination which is conducted offline and takes place for a duration of 3 hours.

Bachelor of Interior Design
|
- 10 + 2 with
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects OR Passed 10+3
Diploma* examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject having
obtained at least 50% marks in the aggregate and have obtained valid
score in the NATA as prescribed by Council.
NOTE: * A candidate shall have passed
the Diploma (I0+ 3) of any stream with Mathematics as a compulsory subject
from-
- The Technical Examination Board, Gujarat State
or
- A University
established or incorporated by or under a Central or a State Act or an
institution declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the
University Grants Commission Act. 1956 (3 or 1956)
OR
- Candidates who
have cleared the qualifying examination from school located outside
India with minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed by AICTE/Council
from time to time, and equivalency defined by Association of Indian
Universities (AIU), New Delhi shall be eligible for admission.
OR
- The candidate
shall have to pass all the subjects of the qualifying examination from a
single Board.

Usually CEPT entrance examinations are pen and paper based, i.e., in
offline mode. However, due to the pandemic, CEPT 2020 was conducted online.
There is yet to be an announcement regarding the mode of examination of CEPT

· As per the timeline provided above,
candidates have to register through www.cept.ac.in/www.admissions.cept.ac.in
· The next step is filling the
application form, uploading documents and making the payment (debit or credit
card or net banking). The application fee is Rs. 500
· Candidates are to take a print out of
the admit cards when it will be available
Prep Tips
· Depending on the course that you are
applying for, your preparation strategy should vary. However, for whichever
course you want to take up, a thorough understanding of the syllabus and the
exam pattern is important. Hit the college libraries and do as much research as
possible.
· After you get a grip on these,
prepare a strategy based on your own needs. Make a routine and follow it no
matter what.
· Look for old question papers and
solve as many as you can.
· Sit for mock examinations.
· Eat healthily and get enough amount of
sleep to process information and also for the best possible outcome.

A. Initially it was run by Ahmedabad Education Society (ASE) but later
on, it became private.
Q) Is CEPT University autonomous in
nature?
A. It was autonomous until 2002 when it got affiliated to
Hemchandraacharya North Gujarat University.
Q) What is the duration of the CEPT
entrance examination?
A. 3 hours.
