About CUCET 2021

The Central Universities Common Entrance Test is a country-wide exam conducted for admission to various Integrated or Undergraduate, Postgraduate and also Research Programmes in different 14 Central and State Universities of India. From its inception in the year 2010, the CUCET has been coordinated by the Central University of Rajasthan.

The CUCET 2021 will be held in the third week of May 2021. It will be organised by the 14 Central Universities of India. 

Given below are the essential dates to be noted for the same.

CUCET Exam 2021: Registration Process

To register, candidates have to fill the CUCET 2021 Application Form. All aspiring entrants have to fill out and submit an applications form before the specified deadline. Students can complete and submit the Application Form in the online mode. No other mode will be entertained to receive the Application Form.

  • Applicants can fill the CUCET 2021 Application Form from the second week of March 2021.
  • CUCET 2021 Application Form can be filled the last submission of application until the second week of April 2021.
  • No correction facility will be made available in the online Application Form later on. So, please fill in the details carefully before submitting it.
  • Students who have applied have to upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature in the JPEG/JPG format (Size: 10KB to 50 KB).
  • At the time of completing the form, applicants can fill a maximum of three Participating Universities (PU) with three courses in each.
  • Applicants must keep copies of the filled Application Form with them for the future.

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the official website of CUCET 2021
  • Fill in required details such as the Name of the candidate, Valid e-mail address, Mobile Number, Date of Birth, Password.
  • Doing this will get you your CUCET unique ID that will be used further for completing the application process.  

Step 2: Fill CUCET online application form 2021

  • Re-login using unique CUCET ID
  • Fill in all the details required, i.e., Personal details, Details of qualifying exams, Valid GATE Scores, Address for correspondence, Exam Centre, Declaration, Verification code.
  • Click on save and proceed next.

Step 3: Upload Documents

  • Upload the scanned photograph (10kb to 50 kb).
  • Upload the scanned signature (10kb to 50 kb).

Step 4: Course Registration

  • Applicants must select the university and course as per their preference.
  • Applicants can select up to three universities with the courses theirs.
  • Enter the university code and course.
  • Click on the 'Save and Proceed' button.

Step 5: Fee Payment

  • Applicants must select the university and course as per their preference.
  • Applicants can select up to three universities with the courses theirs.
  • Enter the university code and course.
  • Click on the 'Save and Proceed' button.

Step 6: View the Registration Form

  • In this section, applicants can view their application forms and can verify the payment status.
  • After successfully sending all the details, take the printed copy of the form.
  • You should take extra photocopies and keep them available until you enter a university.

CUCET Eligibility 2021

  • Candidates must pass the 10+2 or equivalent with the relevant subjects based on the course they are applied to.

CUCET 2021 - FAQs

Q1. When will the CUCET 2021 result be released?

A1. The CUCET 2021 result will be announced in the online mode in the third week of June.

Q2. When will the admission list of the CUCET 2021 be made available?

A2. The CUCET 2021 admission list will be released after the counselling the registration process is over by the participating institutes.

Q3. What is the cut-off expected for CUCET 2021?

A3. Each institution will release its own cut-off list for entry into various courses. Students have to qualify for the minimum cut-off criteria to gain admission.

Q4. Does the CUCET involve rounds of interviews for all programs?

A4. No. Interview rounds are held only for selected courses in the CUCET (MSc/MA in Digital Society course). The total weightage given to the interview round is 25 percentages.
