About AEEE Exam 2021
The Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination is known as the AEEE exam, which is a university level entrance exam for students seeking admission to a B.Tech degree from a campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University.
The exam is conducted every year by the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University for admitting students to the different campuses of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, i.e., Coimbatore, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, and Chennai. AEEE is a computer-based and remote proctored based online examination that consists of 60 questions, divided into four sections, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. Aspiring candidates must have to complete the exam within a time duration of 1 hour 30 minutes.

AEEE Exam Registration Process 2021
AEEE Exam 2021 registration process commences on 7th January, 2021. Candidates who want to participate in the exam have to apply for the exam by filling the application form through the official website of the AEEE. It is an online process that involves the following steps:
Step 1: Registration
- Visit the official website of AEEE 2021
- Fill required details.
- Click on the Submit button to get yourself a profile on the Amrita Online Admissions Portal.
Step 2: Fill AEEE online application form 2021
- Re-login using unique AEEE ID
- Fill all the details
- Choose the subject of your preference with the campus.
Step 3: Upload Documents
- Upload the scanned photograph (less than 200 KB).
- Upload the scanned signature (less than 200 KB).
Step 4: Fee Payment
- After clicking Save & Next, the fee payment page will be redirected.
- Choose payment mode (Net Banking, Credit card, and Debit Card).
Step 5: Final Submission
- After completing all the steps mentioned above, candidates will have to do the final submission of the AEEE application form.
AEEE Exam Eligibility 2021
Candidates who want to take admission in the different B.Tech courses offered by various Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University campuses, i.e., Coimbatore, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, and Chennai, will have to take the common entrance exam conducted by the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University. For this, students have to be fit the eligibility criteria of the AEEE 2021 issued by the exam conducting authority. Listed below are the eligibility criteria for the AEEE 2021 entrance exam:
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent with 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized board.
- Candidates also have to secure a minimum of 55% marks in each of the subjects individually.

AEEE Exam Pattern 2021
AEEE 2021exam is going to be conducted in both the computer-based online (CBT) and remote proctoring based (RPB) modes. The AEEE exam consists of 60 questions comprised of 04 sections i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. Students will have to answer all the questions within the time duration of 1 hour 30 minutes.
- AEEE 2021 entrance will going to be conducted in both the computer-based as well as remote proctoring based (RPB) modes.
- The paper consists of MCQ questions.
- Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
- Total no of questions: 60 Questions
- Maximum Marks: 180
- Each correct answer will carry a 03 mark.
- Each wrong answer will consist of 1/3 negative marking, i.e., 01 mark will be deducted.

AEEE Exam 2021 Modes
Remote Proctored Examination (Secured)
Candidates who opted for Remote Proctored Examination can attend the exam from home on their laptop/PC with good internet connectivity. Webcam connection is also necessary. The exam will be remotely proctored by the university staff.
Centre Based Test (CBT)
Candidates who opted for a Centre Based Examination (CBE) will be conducted only in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu & Telangana states.
AEEE Exam Admission Process 2021
On the basis of the AEEE 2021 score, eligible candidates can apply for admission in the B.Tech programs at different campuses of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University. Candidates who cleared the AEEE 2021 have to go through the following procedure for getting final admission in an Institute.
Seat allotment takes place on the basis of a merit list. After this, candidates can report to the institution to acknowledge their admission.
- Firstly, candidates have to fit the eligibility criteria issued by the exam conducting authority of AEEE Exam 2021.
- Now, they have to fill the application form for AEEE 2021 through online mode.
- The admit card will be issued to the candidates online itself, after which candidates need to appear for the AEEE 2021 exam as per the date scheduled by them.
- Qualified candidates now have to register for the counseling round (dates for counselling will be announced by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University on the official website after the declaration of the AEEE 2021 result).
- They have to reach on time at the counselling center for document verification.
NOTE: The seat in the preferred branch opted by the candidate will be provided to them according to the marks obtained in the AEEE exam.
