The AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) in New Delhi offers nursing programs such as BSc (Hons.) Nursing and BSc Nursing (Post-Basic). The graduation course in Nursing or BSc (Hons.) Eligibility Criteria
The examination section for AIIMS, New Delhi has created an eligibility criteria for candidates who want to take up the AIIMS Nursing 2021 examination for the BSc programmes. The eligibility criteria for AIIMS 2021 for various programmes at undergraduate level can be seen below:
For the BSc (Hons) Nursing Eligibility
·Candidates must have cleared their class 12 exams or equivalent exams from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English included in their subjects.
·Candidates in general category must have attained a minimum of 55 percent in aggregate and SC/ST category candidates must have attained 50 percent in aggregate in their class 12th exams.
For the BSc Paramedical Eligibility
·Candidates must have cleared their class 12 exams or equivalent exams from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English included in their subjects.
·Candidates in the General/EWS/OBC category should have secured a minimum of 50 percent in aggregate in their class 12 while SC/ST category candidates should have secured a minimum of 45 percent in aggregate.
For the BSc Nursing (Post-Basic) Eligibility
·Candidates must have cleared their class 12 exams or equivalent exams from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English included in their subjects.
·Candidates that have qualified their class 11 on or before 1986 can also apply.
·Candidates that have a diploma in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from any Indian Nursing Council are also eligible.
·Candidate must have registered themselves as a nurse or as a midwife with the State Nursing Council. For male nurses, along with being a registered nurse, they should mandatorily have training in any of the mentioned subjects for a period of six months:
