NU Scholarship
NU provides scholarships to encourage and help the meritorious students, which helps them to continue their higher studies with ease.
NU provides a several number of Scholarships to the meritorious students.
Scholarship Scheme for Undergraduate Programs
- Merit Based
Merit based Scholarship are given by the Nirma University. Merit Scholarship, amount of Rs. 1 lakh per annum to the top 5 students, Rs. 90k to the next 20 students, and Rs. 50k to the next 25 students.
- Merit-cum-Means Based
This scholarship will be given according to family annual income.

- Interest Free Loan by University
In this scheme, tuition fee will be given by the University. This benefit is provided to 5% of the total intake of students with 100% reimbursement of interest on loan for a family income up to Rs. 3 lakhs, 50% reimbursement in case of family income less than Rs. 5 lakhs.
- Alumni Funded Scholarship
This scholarship is started by the Nirma Institute of Technology Alumni Association (NITAA) to help meritorious students in need of financial assistance. Scholarships amount of Rs. 30000/-each annually will be provided branch wise top two students.
Scholarship Scheme for Postgraduate Programs
In Postgraduate Program the 1st nine GATE qualified students will get Rs. 12.4K monthly and all remaining students will get Rs. 5K monthly. The students are expected to put in 8 hours per week for academic work assigned by the department.
Scholarship Scheme for Doctoral Programs
This scholarship is given to the full time doctoral scholar. The Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for the first two years and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) for the third year as per the UGC norms. The students are expected to put in 8 hours per week for academic work assigned by the department.
Scholarship for Commerce Program
NU is providing scholarship of Rs. 7200/- for the academic year 2020-21 to all the students of 1st year B.Com (Hons) program. This scholarship is only for 1st year b.com. (Hons) students from 2nd year these students will be required to pay tuition fee of Rs. 97200 per year.

Covid19 Scholarship for LAW
In consideration of COVID – 19 Pandemic, NU provides Covid-19 Scholarship of Rs. 17400/- for the year 2020-21 to all students admitted in the program. This Scholarship shall be available only in the first year of Academic Year 2020-21
