Law related Career Options

A Student generally feels ambiguity in talking law as his Career option, He is ideally not aware about the different dimensions of Law related career options. In India, there are enormous career opportunities after completion of LLB. After the completion of LLB you can still have multiple options in your hand you can start working as a lawyer, you can pursue for higher education and can undergo LLM or you can prepare for the competitive exams. Today in this article we will be focusing towards some major Law related career options so that a student should find it easy to select the Law options in their career as according to their potential and their interests.

1.)    Career as a Judge

This is undoubtedly the most important and powerful position in the Judicial system of our nation. Once you clear the Judicial Service Examination conducted by Public Service Commissions you will be appointed as a Judge. In this profession you will be earning a lot of power and social respects.

Judges are solely responsible for administrating, interpreting and applying laws and article of the Constitution. It requires a lot of hard work and keen dedication and perseverance towards the Judicial System of our nation. For a student to become a Judge, Law degree is mandatory, so they must take Law as their career option if they are willing to shape their career as a Judge.

2.)    Law Firm (Associate)

A Law Candidate after completing LLB can also shape their career as an Associate in the Law Firm. There are ample of great opportunities in the Law Firm for the dedicated and talented lawyers. They can learn a lot and can grow in their career by learning the implementation of textbook laws in a practical environment under different legal trials.

They are generally paid well and get exposure to the exciting and thrilling law cases revolving around.

3.)    MNC (Legal Officer)

These days it has been seen that even MNCs are hiring LLB graduates in bulk and are giving training to them as a Legal Officer for their firm. In this scenario as a career option after LLB, A law graduate enjoys all the basic perks given by the MNCs and can withdraw a handsome salary at the end of the month.

Legal Officer after working for few years can switch their company and can increase their PayScale as per their knowledge and exposure in the market.

4.)    Private Practice

A LLB graduate can ideally do Private Practice also after getting his Law License. The best part about doing Private Practice is this, though it will involve certain amount of time to be a recognized lawyer but once you will reach to that benchmark then you will be getting a exponential renumeration growth along with the recognition and social respect.

It involves a lot of hard work and requires patience, dedication amalgamated with a vison.

Gone are those days where a lawyer career was only restricted to the fewer options, these days Law field has expanded its wings and has opened multiple career related options for the Law graduates. They can explore different working environment and also they can do higher studies in different areas and can use their law degree for pursuing the same.
