It’s been always a question among students while choosing from these two popular courses that what they should opt for. They should select Engineering as a career path or should choose B. Arch as their career option. Both the courses are designed specifically and caters to the entirely different domain and is dependent on the individual interests. As observed and analyzed from the survey, The All India Survey on Higher Education(AISHE) 2019 report by ministry of Human Resources total 38.52Lakhs of student had been enrolled in different engineering courses for their career making it a hugely popular stream of education in India.

Bachelor of Architecture is also an undergraduate course specifically in the field of Architecture. In India the duration of this course is of 5 Years.

Any student who is 10+2 passed out with minimum 50% is eligible for this course and can pursue the same.

This five-year full-time programme is a blend of theorical and practical knowledge for students to learn the art of planning, designing and constructing physical structures of various kinds. Sometimes student correlate this course as a linking of Civil Engineering but deep down it is the subset of Civil Engineering and the course material and structure even the future growth varies significantly as compared to the Civil Engineering.

In India a student faces, these two popular exams for the study of B. Arch

1.)    The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and

2.)    Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT)

Once a student secures good rank in any of these based on counselling a student can grab some of the finest college in this field and can pursue the education. Again, the student should do their homework based on the area of interests, passion and work profile and then only go and invest their 5 Valuable years and good amount of money in the same so that the yield can be productive and desirable.
